Offering a wonderful blend of forest and river, Blackwood River Cottages, an accredited tourism property, is a very special place... A very scenic property offering 3 off the ground character timber cottages located close to the river's edge - all with double spas, each in a private and secluded setting.

The cottages have been carefully positioned on the property and this coupled with the judicious planting of trees and shrubs offers guests a peaceful and secluded setting providing the ultimate in privacy and peace.

Hidden deep in the forest on the bank of the Blackwood River, each cottage has its own private and idyllic setting.

Blue Wren Cottage is just metres from the edge of the forest and has its own private gazebo looking down over the Blackwood River. An off the ground, timber cottage, Blue Wren has a private front verandah to watch the kangaroos come out from the forest for the evening feed. Complete with a two person corner spa bath and fully self-contained facilities, Blue Wren is the perfect setting for a private getaway.

Mulberry Cottage offers a spacious cottage getaway with river and forest outlook. With three bedrooms, a roomy lounge/dining area offering flat screen LCD satellite TV, DVD and audio microsystem, together with verandahs both front and back, this is the ideal cottage for a family or couples wishing to share. The lofty spa room has private river views.

Garden Cottage is a one bedroom romantic spa cottage with a wraparound verandah on three sides. Overlooking a private scented garden hidden behind an old original post and rail fence, Garden Cottage offers a very private retreat. As with the other cottages your entertainment needs are catered to with a flat screen LCD TV, DVD and audio microsystem and all linen is provided. A wood fire gives winter warmth and an air conditioner provides summer comfort.

A picturesque lake in the middle of the property provides a breeding habitat for a wide variety of water birds and frogs. The property is also home to a range of birdlife as well as kangaroos and smaller native marsupials. Walking trails abound around the property and in the neighbouring forest for those who wish to observe nature in its natural environment.


Directions: From Nannup take the Brockman Highway to Augusta. Two kilometres from the edge of town turn right into River Rd. Wind down through the forest for 6 kilometres to a road junction and continue ahead down Nevermann Rd for 2 kilometres and turn Left into Blackwood River Cottages.

1.Blackwood River Cottages appreciates that under certain circumstances you may need to change your plans. If cancellation occurs no less than 28 days prior to your booked date of stay your deposit will be refunded less a $50 booking fee. If your booking is transferred to an alternative date (subject to availability) the booking fee will be waived and your deposit allocated against your new reservation dates. 2.If cancellation occurs less than 28 days prior to your booked date of stay any refund of your deposit (less $50 booking fee) will only be available subject to a replacement booking for your reservation being re-booked in full. If the reservation is not re-booked in full your deposit will be forfeited. If your booking is transferred to an alternative date (subject to availability) the booking fee will be waived subject to your original reservation dates being re-booked in full and your deposit allocated against your new reservation dates. 3.If you do not arrive for your reservation without advising Blackwood River Cottages you will be liable for the total amount of your reservation booking and this amount will be debited to your credit card (less any amount of deposit paid). Deposits 1.All bookings must be confirmed with credit card details and a minimum of 50% of your total reservation fee is required to secure your booking. 2.Payments can be made with Visa and MasterCard only. 3.Balance of your accommodation payment is required at check-in.
